Diana Seward

I am a homeschooling mom of five, although my oldest is a sophomore in college, and the next is graduating May 2024. I have an English degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a Master of Divinity in Women’s Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. While I was working on my masters, I completed the Teacher Certification coursework for secondary English teaching in North Carolina. I never completed my student teaching for full certification, but I’ve taught English language arts in multiple places, including my children at home, for the past 19 years. I grew up in church and knew a lot about God from an early age. I realized at 15 that even though I had a good knowledge of God, I did not really know Him personally. I chose to follow Christ that day and have been serving Him ever since. I love helping students learn the art of writing and develop the motivation to express themselves well. I am also an avid reader and enjoy discussing great literature anytime!
