Sara Dooley

I love the mystery of science and how to piece a crime scene together to catch the criminal. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University 20 years ago, with a Bachelor’s in Forensic Science and a minor in Biology. Upon graduating, I moved to Greensboro, North Carolina and worked for the Greensboro Police Department as a Crime Scene Investigator. During that time my husband and I became engaged and I moved back to Virginia and began working for the Department of Forensic Science as a  Forensic Laboratory Specialist in DNA. As my relationship grew with Christ, He led me to be a stay at home mom with my first child and later start homeschooling her. This year marks 10 years of our homeschooling journey, with the blessing of three more children (16,13,9, and 6 years old). God has great plans for our lives, and the more we pray and trust in His plans and His journey for us, the straighter our road aligns with His will.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
