Hello, my name is Courtney Vipperman. For the past fifteen years I have been an owner/operator of a home daycare. I would teach each child from the age of 2 & up and assist the older children with their homework and additional work during the summer to better prepare everyone for their schoolwork. I have home schooled my own children as well. Along with teaching children regular school curriculum, I have felt it my calling to teach children at their level about the Lord. I am excited to be part of Utmost Academy co-op to help your student not only grow with standard education, but in God's Word as well!
Bible Study-God's Great Covenant-Year 1

Description
The Bible tells us God’s story. It has many parts, but from beginning to end it is one story with a promise throughout: “I will be your God, and you will be My people.” Through this story, we learn who God is, who mankind is, how the world came to be, and how God worked through history to bring redemption to His people. The God’s Great Covenant series will narrate this story for your student in an engaging and unique way.
It teaches the biblical narrative from Genesis to Ruth, starting at the beginning when sin came into the world. This first book presents the overarching Old Testament themes of the promises and power of God, recounted in simple, weekly stories. Students will follow along with God’s people, see how He leads them and keeps His promises, and learn how the stories of God’s people begin to point us to the coming Savior, Jesus Christ.
Before the week's story, each chapter opens with a Memory Page that includes a weekly memory verse, a Key Facts chart, and vocabulary to remember. A thought-provoking "Who is God?" question will encourage children to consider what they are learning about Him and how to relate to Him in their own lives. Each chapter also contains a worksheet and a quiz.
There are 4 years of studies in this curriculum. Each year I plan to add the next course to continue with the students. Your child does NOT need to be in a certain grade to start this course.
Required materials/fees
Student will need to purchase God’s Great Covenant Old Testament 1 Student Edition
Minimum: 5 students
Tuition: $50/month for 9 months
**Tuition will be reduced by $5/month when the minimum of 5 students is reached. If fewer than 5 students register for the class, you will be notified in early August. Classes of fewer than 5 students may still be offered, but are not guaranteed.
